Guide to Visiting the Anheuser Busch Brewery in St. Louis, MO

We had a great weekend trip to St. Louis and enjoyed our tour of the Anheuser Busch brewery. Here are a few tips for visiting:
- Tours run every 15 minutes or so. Check their website for up to date hours and their hints.
- Saturday’s are busy. Get there early to reserve a time slot, then expect to spend some time in the gift shop or leave and come back later.
- If you don’t happen to get a ticket to a time slot, wait in the standby line. Even it it looks long, like it did when we were there, you will most likely end up on a tour. Each tour takes at least 10 people from the standby line, so your group will end up on a tour after waiting anywhere from 10-40 minutes.
- Even if you don’t get on a tour, they will let you check out the Clydesdales portion of the tour and then send you directly to the tap room to have your two free beers (this also good option if you don’t have much time to spend).
If you can’t get to this tour, or just want to continue the beer sampling fun, we’ve heard good things about the Schlafly brewery tour and Urban Chestnut brewery tour as well. Comment if you’ve been on these and have tips!
