There’s also a lot of exciting and thrilling things that await you aside from capturing beautiful pictures and enjoying the view.

1. Grand Canyon Rafting Trip

My favorite way to experience the Grand Canyon is by river, specifically by raft.  I’m not talking a one-day trip either, although that is an option. I am huge fan of the longer trips that allow you to camp each night.  Picture this, each morning you wake up to freshly brewed coffee and a hot breakfast. You load the boats and then spend a couple of hours on and off of the river with a couple of side canyon hikes in the mix too.

I also think it’s important to mention that most of the tours include rafting on the Colorado River’s famous white water rapids, but there are many options to choose from if you want something more tame.  Keep in mind that different starting points, destinations, and side spots can be selected when you wish to go on a river trip, so you should be sure about which place you are heading too.

Nonetheless, every place in this activity is a worthwhile experience.  If you want to see what sort of trip options there are, check out Advantage Grand Canyon where you can see the list of trips that take anywhere from half of a day all the way up to 18 days.  Pleanty of time for you to maximize the astonishing and distinctive beauty of the Grand Canyon.
