Asia is a wonderful place to travel, even for first time travelers who haven’t been anywhere before. Many people choose Asia as their starting off point when they decide that they’re going to go travelling. If you’re a first time traveler here, these tips can help you:

You Don’t Always Have to Go off the Beaten Track

You’ll read so many travel guides that tell you to go off the beaten track, but this isn’t necessary for you to have a good time. Why wouldn’t you want to see some of the most famous places? They are famous and popular for a reason! It’s true that some of the popular tourist attractions aren’t as good anymore, as they attract way too many tourists and get far too busy to be enjoyed. You can still visit some of the popular tourist attractions, you just have to find the right ones. Do your research and visit the ones that speak to you in particular. You don’t need to follow anybody else. Make sure you stay safe too!

Take a Cheap Phone

No matter how long you plan on being in Asia for, you should take a cheap phone with you. How else will you arrange to meet up with all of the great people that you meet? This should be the first thing you do after getting off the plane, even if you’re only planning on staying a few weeks. You’ll kick yourself if you don’t.

Don’t Take Too Much Stuff

Don’t take too much stuff with you or you’ll feel uncomfortable the entire time. People used to take those giant backpacks with them, but they are made in Asia. If you really want one, buy one over there and save a huge amount on the price! Try to take no more than 2 small bags with you and you’ll feel so much more comfortable as you travel. You won’t need to worry about paying extra to get your stuff on flights. You’ll just need to look at business class Airfares to Asia if you want to travel in style.

Live Mostly Off Street Food

You can live mostly off street food and save an absolute fortune if you don’t have much money to play with. You’ll be able to eat for very little and enjoy it! You can get full sized meals for a ridiculously cheap price. Just make sure you buy it in an area that has a large amount of people around, as it’ll be the freshest.

Make Friends With Locals

Make friends with locals who may be able to give you some amazing travel tips. You might make some great friends out of it too!

Always Get Insurance

If you’re careful, you should get through your Asia experience just fine. However, if you don’t follow basic hygiene and safety tips, you could end up harming yourself. Always get insurance, just in case. You might be very careful and still fall ill somehow.

Hopefully these tips help you to have a great time!
