Five Music Festivals You Should Finally Attend This Year
If you are like most people, you have several music festivals to cross off your bucket list. And several big bands, too – I have acts like Daft Punk, Kraftwerk and The Chemical Brothers on mine. So, the summer of 2015 is beginning, and so is the festival season. This is your chance to get up from your chair, plan a trip, raise the money – for the total gambling experience visit red flush casino, which can help you do so – and cross off some items from your list. I will.
So, here is a list of the music festivals I plan to visit this year, or maybe the next, if they overlap.
5. Tomorrowland – Boom, Belgium, July 24-26
It is like stepping into a world of magic, fairy tales and electronic music – Tomorrowland is a festival for lovers of sun, nature, electronic music and state of the art stages. Starting on June 24th, the festival is headlined by big names – David Guetta, Avicii, Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, Bob Sinclair and other big names of the genre. Take your time, relax, visit whatever you can – and enjoy yourself.
4. Mysteryland – Haarlemmermeer, Netherlands, August (TBA)
Mysteryland was first held in the early 1990s, when the Netherlands was best known for its beer, tulips and rave bands. The event is about more than just music and dance – at the core of the event you can find the basic message of “peace, love and music”. This year’s lineup has names like Chocolate Puma, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Jungle by Night, Khalil, Knife Party, Laidback Luke and many others. Not to miss.
3. Sziget Festival – Budapest, Hungary, August 10-17
Music, art, food, performance and regional culture make the Sziget (means island in Hungarian) one of the best rated music festivals of the world. The stages will be filled with representatives of any style you can imagine, playing Jew’s harp or mixing on stage, with lots of upcoming European bands to listen to. A week of entertainment, perfect for an eclectic taste. Headlining this year are Robbie Williams, Florence and the Machine, Kasabian, Limp Bizkit, Hollywood Undead – and the best is yet to be announced!
2. Sunburn Festival – Goa, India, December 27th
Three days of music, dancing, food and entertainment between Christmas and New Year, bringing together renowned local and international DJs to entertain the crowds. One of the younger festivals – it was first organized in 2007 – the Sunburn has grown into a major event, with over 150,000 visitors from all over the world attending.
1. Ultra Music Festival – Miami, Florida (US), March 2016
The closing party of the Winter Music Conference, the Ultra Music Festival mixes DJ sets with live acts. Last year’s headliners included big names like Dizzee Rascal, MGMT, and Empire of the Sun, and DJs like Carl Cox, Diplo or Tiesto. Expect the same for the next edition – and crowds, lots of dancing and a good time.
